Oriel College is thrilled to join in collaboration with St Anne’s, St Catherine’s, St Hilda’s, Magdalen, Mansfield and University Colleges, Oxford for an exciting programme called Bright Matter!


BrightMatter is a programme for women and non-binary students in Year 11 and 12 who
are interested in studying STEM subjects at university, aiming to encourage
interest in STEM fields while introducing the courses available at Oxford and
providing a space for students to network and engage with others. 

Running from January through to February, the course will consist of 15 online session
introducing each subject area, with sessions including a subject overview, mini
academic taster session, and Q&A with current students. Students who attend
at least one of our online sessions will be invited to register their interest
in attending an academic taster day at one of the colleges involved.
