Cirencester College course updates and Open Days.

Performing Arts:

We are introducing a new Performing Arts Course which has an Acting Pathway. This will be a Diploma which is a two A-level equivalent. The Extended Diploma (3 A-level equivalent) remains a Musical Theatre pathway.  The website is currently being updated with the new pathway information.

Applied Psychology:

Pearson have made the decision to withdraw this course next year so unfortunately we are not able to offer this as an option for those students starting with us in September 2025. We have removed the course from the website but it is still in the Prospectus.  We have been in touch with all our current applicants who have been offered a place on Applied Psychology to make them aware of this.

History A-level:

We have made an amendment to our entry requirements for our Modern History A-levels – students will need to achieve at least a Grade 5 in English Language.  We have been in contact with relevant applicants who have been offered a place on History to make them aware.

Applications:

Our applications have been open since the end of September and we have already spoken to quite a few applicants and offered them a place, conditional on them getting their grades. We offer plenty of appointments outside school hours and students can have a parent or carer on the call too.

T-levels:

When considering your Post-16 options – you may like to find out more aobut their new T-levels. The Marketing and the Fashion and Textiles T levels are both new this year and provide a great opportunity for students who have an idea of their future career aspirations. T-levels provide an excellent springboard for students who might be considering a Degree Apprenticeship too as they will have already gained work experience as part of their course.
