  • Cheltenham Community Trust recruits annually 15 players between the ages of 16-18 to become part of the Football and Education Scholarship Programme. Students will enroll on a 2-year full time education programme, studying Level 3 in Sport (Equivalent to 3 A levels), whilst competing in an English Football League CEFA representing Cheltenham Town FC.
  • The scholar’s study at the football club and play competitive football fixtures against other professional Football Clubs including Bristol City, Swindon Town & Plymouth Argyle just to mention a few.
  • The programme aims to provide students with the underpinning knowledge and expertise in the field of sport, which could include a career in sports coaching, P.E. teaching, physiotherapy, sports management or sports science.
