E.ON's virtual work experience programme is a free, online, immersive experience designed to help students explore the energy industry and the careers shaping a more sustainable future.

Delivered through the New Energy Academy, the programme combines interactive activities, real-world projects and practical challenges across four modules. Students can learn at their own pace while discovering how energy is changing, the role E.ON plays in the transition to cleaner energy, and the skills and pathways that could help launch their future career.

Why take part?

Our virtual work experience programme gives students an engaging introduction to E.ON, the energy industry and the skills needed for tomorrow's careers.

Through four interactive modules, students will:

Discover how the energy industry is changing
Learn about E.ON and what we do
Explore green skills and future careers
Understand different pathways into work and apprenticeships

The programme is delivered online, making it easier for more students to access meaningful career experiences.

Throughout the programme, students complete challenges designed to encourage creativity, problem-solving and innovative thinking.

The challenge helps learners apply what they have discovered while connecting careers education with real-world sustainability challenges.
