An introduction to the North of England will inform students about a range of universities, and feature a Q&A with current student ambassadors.
What to expect
Study in the North brings together five outstanding northern universities, giving you a unique opportunity to hear directly from institutions with different strengths, campuses and student experiences.
Whether you're looking for a world-leading research university, a close-knit campus community, a vibrant student city, or a university known for exceptional teaching and support, this event will help you explore the range of opportunities available across the North of England. Hear from representatives and students, compare your options, and discover which university could be the right fit for you.
Who should attend
The webinar is designed for students who are researching their undergraduate options and are considering where in the UK they'd like to study. Whether you're from the North, or considering it as an option, we'll aim to outline the key benefits and considerations, compared to other areas of the country. Parents, teachers and supporters are also welcome to attend.

Who will be presenting
Most valuably, there will be a Q&A session with current student ambassadors from each of the universities, where attendees will be encouraged to ask any questions, they have about studying in the North and making informed decisions about choosing where to study. They will be supported by the following staff from each institution:

Looking at the cost of accommodation in the cities I was interested in, the North seemed like the obvious choice. Also, visiting cities in the North, I felt less overwhelmed and a stronger sense of community than in the South.
