What’s on offer?
From 29th - 31st October, selected female students will enjoy an exciting, hands-on experience, working side by side with National Grid professionals. You’ll gain valuable insights into engineering and technology while exploring potential career paths!
- Exclusive work experience opportunities in various regions, including East London, West London, North West London, East Kent, Sussex, Romney, Mendip, and Tamar, close to your area
- Overnight stay at National Grid’s Training Centre in Eakring, Nottinghamshire, with accommodation and meals fully covered!
- Two nights away with other motivated students, building your network and making lifelong connections
- Hands-on workshops, mentoring, and interactive sessions with engineers and industry experts
- Certificate of participation to add to your CV or LinkedIn profile, boosting your future applications
Key Requirement:
It's essential that you live within a commutable distance to one of the following locations, as this is where you will be working if successful and offered a role after the program:
- East London (IG11 0BF)
- West London (KT15 3LA)
- North West London (WD25 8DT)
- South East (CT13 9NL, TN33 9BJ)
- South West (DT4 9XH, PL12 6PU)
We’re specifically looking for female students studying A-levels in Maths or Physics, or those enrolled in a Level 3 Engineering course at college. This program is the perfect pathway to apprenticeship opportunities with National Grid!
